During his time as a political prisoner, distinguished diplomat Jamal Benomar, stated that the knowledge that individuals he didn't understand were working to protect his human rights from the other side of the world offered him immeasurable quantities of courage to face his tormentors.

Symbols are essential to our understanding of our past, present and future, and the UN supplies one of the most honorable emblems that humanity can wear. Although its powers are somewhat restricted, the significant function of United Nations has constantly been to run in such a way that its worths shine through with excellent morality.
